St Albans County Councillors Roma Mills and Dreda Gordon are supporting a group of local parents who have launched a petition in respect of Herts County Council’s plans to close three overnight respite care units for adults with learning disabilities.
Labour County Councillors Nigel Bell from Watford and Sharon Taylor from Stevenage are also giving their support because the proposals affect residents in all parts of Hertfordshire.
You can read the parents full submission and sign the petition by following the link below or logging into hertsdirect.org.uk and looking at their E-petition page.
The petition will need a lot of signatures if it is to reach the threshold needed for consideration by the County Council.
The deadline is 3rd February 2020, please sign to support local parents and our County Councillors
