Kier Starmer will be attending a public meeting in St Albans on 14th March at St Pauls Church, Blanford Road.

Organised by St Albans Labour Party and St Albans Stronger Together

In the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union 63% of the St Albans voting area voted to remain. As the Notification of Withdrawal bill progresses through Parliament the point at which the Government will invoke Article 50 rapidly approaches. The most important set of negotiations for generations will then commence.

At this time the Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, Sir Keir Starmer QC MP has agreed to speak in St Albans on his vision for the Brexit process, his vision for a fair society outside the EU, and how local groups can best influence the process.

As well as having the opportunity to hear Keir’s views on the challenges ahead the meeting is for Keir to listen to the views of local people on the negotiations and the impact of Brexit on St Albans.

The event is free but you will need to register to attend
