Batchwood councillor Roma Mills will lead an inquiry into rail services between London and St Albans at a key council Scrutiny Committee on Thursday February 2nd.
Representatives of Govia and Network Rail will be appearing at the meeting to answer questions about the Thameslink service from Rail Users groups and members of the public.

Roma says, “This service has been described as one of the most expensive in Europe, yet is plagued by delays, cancellations and overcrowding. The committee will want to hear what Govia and Network Rail have been doing to solve the problems and what they intend to do in the future to improve the service.”

Anyone who wants to raise an issue can do so by emailing scrutiny@stalbans.gov.uk by Monday 30th January.
